A new administration team (shown above) has been set up following the change of control at West Oxfordshire District Council after the recent elections. The new ruling group comprises Liberal Democrat, Labour and Green members who between them hold 26 of the 49 council seats. The Conservatives hold 20 seats and there are three Independents.
The new council leader is Andy Graham, a Liberal Democrat. The deputy leader is Duncan Enright (Labour) who will be cabinet member for economic development. He also sits on the county council, where he is cabinet member for travel and development strategy (his portfolio there includes the vexed issue of HGV bans), and is a member of Witney Town Council.so he is going to be a busy man. He must have a large stand to hang all his different hats on.
