We are sorry to report that Caroline Fisher, a well known figure in Burford, has gone missing in Cornwall. She was last seen on 28 January on the Roseland Peninsula on the south west coast of Cornwall. Her Mini Cooper car was found at Porthcurnick Beach. Devon & Cornwall Police and the local coastguard put out an alert for her and expressed concern for her safety.
Caroline works for some time at the Madhatter Bookshop in Burford. More recently she has contributed a much-appreciated column to The Bridge about some of her favourite books under the title "Caroline's Classics".
We shall provide more information when we receive it.
