You may have thought that the question of building on Cole's Field in Burford had gone away after the last planning application was comprehensively defeated. Not a bit of it. A new company is starting the ball rolling on a fresh attempt. Pegasus Group, acting on behalf of a company called Greystoke, is carrying out a consultation on plans up to 141 "extra care residential units" and up to 32 affordable homes.
A leaflet about this is supposed to be being delivered to every home in Burford explaining in extremely brief terms what is proposed and inviting comments. We would urge all residents to submit your views. The space on the card is very limited so it may be easier to comment online at www.eastofbarnslane.co.uk
The response to this consultation will not be conclusive on the future of the proposal but will carry weight so it is important that as many people as possible submit their views. Please encourage your friends and neighbours to do so.
