The Diary of Special events in the August edition of The Bridge erroneously states that the Burford and District Horticultural Society's outing to Daglingworth House is taking place on 25 September. That outing will take place on 21 August. The event on 25 September will be a talk about the plant hunter David Douglas. We apologise for this mistake.
