No, we don’t mean Penny Mordaunt. Senator Linda Reynolds has been appointed Minister of Defence in the cabinet of Australian prime minister Scott Morrison following the recent general election. Linda is the daughter of Laith and Jan Reynolds of Burford. She has been a senator for Western Australia since 2014. Before that she served in the Australian Army Reserve for 29 years, during which she became the first woman to rise to the rank of Brigadier.
