We have been told that Raymond's funeral will be a private event for family and invited guests. It is possible that a larger event to celebrate Raymond's life will take place at a future date but to the best of our knowledge nothing has been settled at this time.
Dear Burford friends, Following David Cohen's kind tribute to our wonderful father, I hope you will all understand that the family is planning for the funeral at the end of this week to be a private event. One reason for this is the great interest shown by so many people in celebrating him and his many contributions to town life. So as Gordon speculates, we are indeed planning a Memorial service. To do this properly are thinking of the middle of October, and we will of course publish a notice with details in the next edition of The Bridge.
