The ever-youthful Raymond Moody gave an entertaining talk today (12 June) about "Saints and sinners", stories of the clergy in Burford in years gone by - some admirable, a few less so. He apologised for sitting to give his lecture, explaining that he is 95 but his knees feel as though they are about 115. He also commented that in Burford one does not become a senior citzen until reaching 80, although in his case that landmark is so far back that he can hardly remember it. He received warm applause from his audience who now look forward to his appearance at the 2026 festival.
