West Oxfordshire has the seventh highest rate of vaccination of over 50s amongst 311 English local authorities.
Government figures show that in six areas, including South Oxfordshire, 100% of those aged 50+ have had at least one dose of a vaccine. West Oxfordshire comes seventh with a rate of 99.9%. Oxfordshire has three districts in the top 10, Cherwell district coming 10th at 99.8%. The lowest in the country is Westminster with 68.5% vaccinated.
In the week from 9 to 15 May there were 14 new cases of Covid reported in West Oxfordshire, a rate of 13 per 100,000 population.
